In the heart of musical darkness emerges Misfortune, a new extreme act coming from Europe. Musicians of the band joined their forces to create a cataclysmic sound blending the fury of death metal and grindcore in its music but mixed with a clever language of hardcore and electronic music.
Guitars spit out razor-sharp riffs, tearing through the air like blades in the darkness. The drumming, pounding like the heart of a raging beast, sets the rhythm for the chaos of slamming breakdowns. The abyssal vocals, laden with rage and desolation, guide the listener through the twists and turns of darkness.
Founded in 2023, Misfortune revealed its music to the world in 2024 with its first album named “Collapsing Serendipity”, an unconventional self-produced album swaying between violence and contemplation over themes of social injustice and anxiety.
The doomish pledge conveyed by the visuals unveiled by the band on its social networks is fulfilled in this album: a feel of death and pessimism lies into this dark music associated with macabre aesthetics and raw energy.
