Three years after his debut EP “Time to Be” out at M&O Music label, Great White Shark, the alternative Rock project of Lausanne-born/Berlin-based author andmusic producer David Naville, is back with his second EP Love Your Mother.
Less “biting” and more “touching” than his first EP, David dug into his everlasting Rock and New Wave roots to produce five original tracks that tell a story following a specific timeline. From being born alone in this world (Alone, Like You), to building overconfidence in the early stages of life (The Night is Mine), to encountering doubts and deceptions over time (Walking on Thin Air) before coming back to basics (Love Your Mother), to finally finding happiness on the very last day of life (The Final Day).
Produced with band mate Nicolas Bonadio in his Kreuzberg studio in Berlin, the Swiss artist delivers an EP full of introspection in a Alt-Rrock context and is completed by two dancefloor-oriented remixes of “The Night is Mine” and “Alone, Like You” by French Electronic duo Nomenklatür and by New/Dark Wave Argentinian producer Skelesys, respectively. It is also accompanied by a short film by Christian Krüger.
