AFTER US ALL offers a melodic Heavy Rock universe that fuses styles from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. This special sauce leads to catchy melodies mixed with metal but also lyrical and pop.
During 2021, while the Covid-19 pandemic was calming down, AFTER US, a band from the Paris area (French group) formed at the end of 2019 started to record their first EP.
The meeting with HK Krauss from Vamacara Studio (LoudBlast, Dagoba, Bukowski, Black Bomb A…) seemed obvious. Beyond his role as a sound engineer, the collaboration with the producer’s musical direction brought a new impetus to the arrangements. The mix and mastering helped the music to new heights.
Thus, the opus “Breaking the Dark” is released at the end of 2021. A deliberately enigmatic title, which aims to position the group beyond the usual rock-metal world. The first reviews praise a work of precision. The melody is preponderant and each of the 4 compositions has the thing that makes the head move and the feet tap thanks to unstoppable choruses.
The atmospheres are intended to be varied. The warm and captivating vocals of Céline Himmer (also an author) charm and transport the listener to the sandstone of the classy, incisive and modern accents of the guitars. The rhythm section is not left out and varies the relief in a worked and neat way. The atmospheres are sometimes dark and heavy, sometimes groovy but always solidly structured.
Since then, the band has recorded a new album called REBIRTHED scheduled for release in February 2025, still at Vamacara studio.
After many concerts in 2023 and 2024 including the Mennecy festival, a change of drummer with the arrival of Fabien and 2 new clips including “Rollercoaster” already available, the band announces its signing with M&O Music label for the distribution and with M&O Office agency for the promotion of its new opus.
